Fierce Target Trailer Brings a Major Contender for Best Worst Movie of 2019

Fierce Target is finally complete after years of waiting. The seeds for this project were started way back in 2007 when aspiring actor and martial arts master Tamas Nadas tried out for a role in a short film by writer/director Emilio Lavizzi, who at the time was looking for experienced fighters and stuntmen. Tamas was exactly what Lavizzi was looking for and the rest in history. Lavizzi and Tamas became friends and then the idea for Fierce Target was born. If you're getting Tommy Wiseau and Greg Sestero from The Room vibes, you're not too far off.

Fierce Target is being marketed as a fast paced action thriller about a rebel car thief who helps a 12-year old girl, who is in danger. As their two worlds collide, they quickly become the targets of a crooked Senator and his security team who then launches a ruthless campaign to destroy them. It has a pretty decent storyline, but things quickly fall apart within the first 30 seconds or so from the trailer when one discovers the acting is about as good as The Room or maybe even worse.

Fierce Target has been described as a cross between The Transporter and Snatch, with intense character driven, "innovative kick ass action." However, one is going to have to dig pretty deep to find it buried in the bowels of this action movie. The project stars Chloe Gunther Chung, Tamas Nadas (Millennium Bugs), Emilio Lavizzi (The Exchange), Bryan Hanna (Mega Shark vs Kolossus), Fabrice Sopoglian, Thom Mulligan (RoboWoman), Don Worley, and more. In addition to starring, Fierce Target was also written and directed by Lavizzi.

Tamas Nadas and Emilio Lavizzi are both European immigrants who came to the US for the same reason: to become actors. Ok, so it's not exactly like Tommy Wiseau and Greg Sestero, but it's pretty close. Nadas and Lavizzi met in California and started their journey together and Fierce Target was written while Lavizzi lived in South of France. As for his main inspiration behind the project, he reveals the action and martial arts movies produced in the 1980s and 1990s were what fueled this project. The martial arts choreography in Fierce Action was grounded to suit a down and dirty action scenario and it's not for the faint of heart. Apparently, "films like this are rarely produced anymore," so you might not want to snooze on this gem.

Tamas Nadas is a three-time world champion and eight-time European Champion. Additionally, he was a US National Brazilian Ju-Jitsu Champion in 2012. In 2017, he won silver medal and bronze medal at the World Police and Fire Games, which is the second biggest tournament in the World after the summer Olympic Games. In 2018, he was inducted into the US Martial Arts Hall of Fame, and continues developing projects for his production companies, Busy Day Productions and Dark Road Pictures. So, if you don't like Fierce Target, you might want to keep it to yourself. There is currently no release date set, but one should be announced soon. While we wait, you can check out the epic trailer and teaser below, thanks to the Fierce Target YouTube channel.

Teen Titans Go! Vs. Teen Titans Trailer Brings the Best of Both Worlds

Warner Bros. has released the first trailer for Teen Titans Go! Vs. Teen Titans. This movie is making use of two beloved versions of the DC heroes. The more serious group from the animated series that first hit the air in 2003, as well as the humor-driven version that got their start a decade later in 2013 when Teen Titans Go! Aired its first episode. Here, it's Robin v Robin, Starfire v Starfire and Santa Claus is in the mix. If nothing else, they're certainly not leaving anything on the table with this one.

The trailer kicks off with the Teen Titans Go! gang in a stadium awaiting their challengers, who are revealed to be the much more serious Teen Titans from the early 2000s. There are definitely some Thor: Ragnarok vibes going on here. There are also some mild Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse vibes, given the whole multiverse concept. The two groups are eventually united to fight a common enemy (well, enemies) and things get rather chaotic. The trailer is extremely colorful and full of action, as well as some pointed situational humor. Overall, it's kind of amazing to see the two very distinctive styles of both shows blended together so well for the movie.

Teen Titans Go! vs. Teen Titans centers on the comedic modern-day quintet, who is forced to take on their 2003 counterparts. Villains from each of their worlds have joined forces in order to pit the two very different teams against each other. Different as they may be, both groups will be forced to set aside their differences and work together to take down Trigon, Hexagon and even Santa Claus in order to save, not just the universe, but the multiverse.

The entire core cast from the shows has returned to reprise their roles include Greg Cipes as Beast Boy, Scott Menville as Robin, Khary Payton as Cyborg, Tara Strong as Raven, and Hynden Walch as Starfire. The cast also features Kevin Michael Richardson as Trigon/Hexagon, Robert Morse as Santa Claus, Grey Griffin as Mrs. Claus, Rhys Darby as Master of Games and Sean Maher as Nightwing. Perhaps best of all, Weird Al Yankovic is also on board as both Gentleman Ghost and Darkseid.

Jeff Mednikow (Be Cool, Scooby-Doo!) is in the director's chair working from a screenplay by Marly Halpern-Graser (Batman vs. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) and Jeremy Adams (LEGO DC: Batman - Family Matters). This comes in the wake of last year's theatrically released Teen Titans Go! To the Movies, which was critically beloved, even if it didn't do gangbusters business at the box office. This time, the action will be coming straight to Blu-ray/DVD and digital later this year, though no exact release date has been revealed. Be sure to check out the trailer for yourself from the IGN YouTube channel.
